Sungrow to Supply 100 PowerStack ESS Units in Major Italian Distribution Agreement

Sungrow has announced a distribution partnership with PM Service S.p.A., a leading Italian renewable energy solutions provider. As part of the agreement, PM Service will purchase 100 units of Sungrow’s latest ESS model, the PowerStack 255CS, for delivery throughout 2025. Designed for commercial and industrial applications, the PowerStack 255CS offers flexible energy capacities of 257 kWh (2-hour) or 514 kWh (4-hour), with over 90% round-trip efficiency. The fully integrated system—featuring PCS, EMS, and BMS—supports a variety of configurations including standalone ESS, PV + ESS, EV chargers + ESS, and microgrids, ensuring adaptable and efficient energy management.

The PowerStack also incorporates advanced liquid cooling, high energy density, and intelligent battery management for optimized safety and performance. With its plug-and-play design and scalable architecture, it is built to support diverse use cases such as peak shaving, load shifting, and grid stabilization. Italy represents a strategic market for Sungrow’s ESS growth, driven by the country’s ambitious clean energy targets and increasing demand for flexible grid infrastructure. Sungrow’s expanding presence in Italy includes a dedicated local subsidiary, with new offices and a project incubator underway to foster international collaboration and innovation. This partnership with PM Service marks a significant step in accelerating Italy’s energy transition and underlines Sungrow’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge, reliable energy solutions tailored to regional needs.
