Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., a leading Indian manufacturer of solar energy solutions, has secured a significant project from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd., under the Department of New and Renewable Energy. The project involves the installation of approximately 16 megawatts (MW) of grid-connected rooftop solar systems across multiple government buildings and offices throughout the state of Madhya Pradesh.
As part of this agreement, Servotech will be responsible for the complete execution of the project. This includes the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of rooftop solar systems with individual capacities ranging from 1 kilowatt (KW) to 500 KW. The systems will be deployed across various government-owned sites in the state, aiming to support Madhya Pradeshโs renewable energy targets and reduce its overall carbon footprint.
Sarika Bhatia, Director, Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., mentioned, โThis is a major leap forward for Servotech. Weโve already been working with many statesโ Nodal agencies across the country, and weโre happy to step into Madhya Pradesh. This project aligns seamlessly with Indiaโs national renewable energy targets and will help accelerate Madhya Pradeshโs clean energy transition by supporting the state governmentโs vision to solarise their infrastructure and build a more sustainable future. Weโre honoured to contribute to this transformative journey of the state of Madhya Pradesh. This project strengthens our position, establishing us as a key player in improving Indiaโs solar infrastructure.โ
The installations will come with a five-year comprehensive warranty to ensure reliable and uninterrupted solar power generation over time. This initiative plays a key role in promoting clean energy adoption within the public sector and reflects Servotechโs growing presence in the Indian renewable energy space. This order not only adds to Servotechโs expanding portfolio of large-scale solar deployments but also strengthens its position as a dependable partner for government-led green energy initiatives. Through this project, the company continues to support the countryโs broader transition towards sustainable and cleaner energy sources.
