ADM Solar, a solar PV module manufacturer listed under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), has achieved a significant milestone by securing national empanelment with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) as well as with all State and Union Territory DISCOMs. This empanelment comes under the central government’s flagship rooftop solar scheme, PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, which aims to install solar systems in 10 crore households across India.
The company operates an advanced, fully automated solar PV module manufacturing facility with an 800 MW capacity, based in Faridabad. With this recognition, ADM Solar is now officially positioned to support the widespread deployment of rooftop solar across the country, playing an essential role in achieving India’s renewable energy targets.
Moving beyond manufacturing, ADM Solar is preparing to launch a series of dedicated retail outlets under the brand name ‘Orient Solar’. These outlets will open in major cities and serve as integrated centers offering high-quality solar PV modules, inverters, batteries, and installation services. The aim is to provide consumers with an end-to-end solar power solution—everything from product purchase to installation and after-sales support—under one roof.
To further accelerate solar adoption, ADM Solar plans to use its growing nationwide partner network to extend its reach into both urban and rural areas. These solar outlets will also act as educational touchpoints, helping consumers understand the benefits of solar energy and making it easier for them to transition to clean power.
Mohit Yadav, CEO, ADM Solar, stated, “Being empanelled under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana is a proud moment for us. It validates our quality, scalability, and commitment to India’s energy transition. Through our retail push and robust supply chain, we aim to empower millions of households, create local employment opportunities, and strengthen the decentralized solar movement.”
ADM Solar’s modern manufacturing infrastructure, national presence, and strong service capabilities make it a reliable partner in the government’s effort to bring affordable and sustainable energy to households, particularly in underserved rural and semi-urban regions. This move not only supports the goals of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana but also advances the larger mission of making clean energy widely accessible across India.
