NTPC Green Energy Invites Bids For QCA Services At 250 MW Anantapur Solar Plant

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited online bids for the deployment of a Qualified Coordinating Agency (QCA) for Forecasting and Scheduling (F&S) and Aggregation Services at its 250 MW Solar Power Plant located in Anantapur. The tender follows a single-stage composite bidding process and is open to eligible bidders as per the criteria and scope outlined in the official documents.

The scope of the work includes end-to-end services related to F&S obligations as per applicable CERC and SERC regulations, including aggregation of data and interfacing with the concerned SLDCs. All work is to be executed at the Anantapur site under NGEL’s jurisdiction.

The bidding process is conducted entirely online via NTPC’s eProcurement Portal. The bid document can be downloaded from the portal free of cost. There is no tender fee, Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), or Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) applicable for this tender, which makes it easier for interested parties to participate without financial barriers.

The bid submission end date is 22nd July 2025; interested bidders must adhere strictly to these deadlines. Notably, no queries will be entertained by NGEL beyond the last date specified for receiving bidder queries. Additionally, no pre-bid conference or reverse auction is scheduled for this tender.

The bidding documents are comprehensive and structured in the following sections: Invitation for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions of Contract, Special Conditions of Contract, Technical Specifications including Scope of Work and Terms & Conditions, Schedule of Quantities or Bill of Quantities, and various Forms and Procedures.

Prospective bidders are advised that downloading the bid documents does not automatically qualify them for participation. Proper scrutiny of eligibility and compliance will be conducted as part of the evaluation process. The bid opening will take place online in the presence of bidders’ representatives who may wish to attend.
