Sungrow, a global leader in PV inverter and energy storage solutions, concluded its 2025 Southeast Asia Distribution Summit from July 17โ€“19 on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. The event brought together over 100 key stakeholdersโ€”including distribution partners, service providers, industry experts, and mediaโ€”from across the region. Under the theme โ€œRobust Power, Robust Future,โ€ Sungrow reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Southeast Asia, highlighting its comprehensive product portfolio, localized service capabilities, and tailored strategies to meet regional needs. Attendees engaged in interactive workshops, closed-door sessions, and market outlook briefings focused on accelerating clean energy adoption and building collaborative growth models.

A major highlight of the summit was the official launch of Sungrowโ€™s new MG5/6/8/10RL Residential Energy Storage System (ESS) series and the MGL060 battery, designed to meet the rising demand for energy independence amid growing urbanization and rising electricity costs. With features such as full-power operation at 45โ€ฏยฐC, active PID recovery, and 4ms seamless backup switching, the system ensures reliable performance even in harsh climates or unstable grid conditions. In the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment, Sungrow introduced its enhanced rooftop safety and optimization solutionโ€”combining its C&I inverter with the SR20D-M Rapid Shutdown Device and SP1400D Optimizer. Compliant with UL1741/3741 safety standards and backed by a 25-year warranty, the system supports a 450m PLC communication range and uses patented Snap Fit Installation technology, cutting installation and maintenance time by 45%. These innovations underline Sungrowโ€™s commitment to safety, efficiency, and long-term value across Southeast Asiaโ€™s fast-evolving energy landscape.
