TotalEnergies ENEOS and Technip FMC have successfully commissioned a 680 kilowatt-peak (kWp) rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system in Malaysia. The system will generate approximately 915 MWh of renewable electricity each year which is sufficient for powering 20 percent of the facilityโs energy needs. The PV system has over 1100 Solar modules and will prevent Technip FMC from generating 500 tons of CO2 every year.
The PPA is for 18 years and doesnโt need any upfront investment from Technip. During this period, Technip will purchase the electricity produced and TotalEnergies ENEOS will remain responsible for operating and maintaining the PV system.
