ACME Venus Urja Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has secured long-term project financing worth ₹3,892 crore from the State Bank of India (SBI) to develop a 400 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project.

This marks SBI’s first financing in ACME’s FDRE portfolio and also represents the company’s largest single funding from the bank. The loan will be repaid over a period of 19 years.

The project will be developed in Barmer, Rajasthan under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC at a tariff of ₹4.64 per unit. It will integrate solar generation and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to ensure high dispatchability and compliance with contractual obligations.

ACME Solar highlighted that the project underscores its strategy of combining renewable generation with advanced storage to deliver firm and reliable green power.

With a current operational capacity of 2,890 MW across solar, wind, hybrid, storage, and FDRE solutions, ACME Solar has positioned itself as a leading integrated renewable energy developer. Its in-house EPC and O&M divisions are credited with delivering cost-effective projects while maintaining industry-leading Capacity Utilisation Factors (CUF) and operating margins
