King Philippe Of Belgium Honors IEA Executive Director Dr. Fatih Birol As Grand Officer In The Order Of Leopold For Global Energy Leadership

At a special ceremony held at the Royal Palace in Brussels, King Philippe of Belgium conferred one of the nation’s highest civilian honors on Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA). Dr. Birol was appointed as a Grand Officer in the Order of Leopold, an honor reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service and leadership over the course of their careers.
