Juniper Green Energy Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Juniper Green Sigma Eight Private Limited, has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with TATA Power Company Limited for a 70 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The PPA, signed on 23rd September 2025, spans a period of 25 years.
Under the agreement, Juniper Green Energy will develop a renewable energy power project in Maharashtra, combining solar, wind, and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The project will have a total renewable energy capacity of approximately 180 MWp and a BESS capacity of around 280 MWh. The electricity generated from this FDRE project will be supplied to TATA Power Company Limited, with power supply scheduled to commence on 22nd September 2027.

Juniper Green Energy continues to strengthen its renewable portfolio. Earlier, in June 2025, the company signed a PPA with NHPC for a 250 MW FDRE project to supply power to the state of Haryana, reflecting its ongoing commitment to clean and dispatchable energy solutions across India.
