Yokogawa India Appoints Albert Devadasan As New Managing Director, Effective September 2025, To Lead Operations Across South Asia And Drive Innovation, Growth, And Sustainability

Yokogawa India Limited has announced the appointment of Albert Devadasan as its new Managing Director, effective September 2025. In this leadership role, he will oversee the companyโ€™s operations across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal, focusing on driving growth, strengthening customer relationships, and advancing Yokogawaโ€™s innovation strategy in the region. Albert Devadasan brings over 35 years of extensive experience in the automation and control industry, having built a distinguished career within Yokogawa.

Over the years, he has held several leadership roles in operations, business development, and strategic planning, contributing significantly to the companyโ€™s growth and technological advancements. His expertise spans systems engineering, project execution, customer success, and sustainability-focused initiatives, all of which have positioned him as a trusted leader in the field.

Before assuming his new role, Mr. Devadasan served as Executive Vice President โ€“ Energy & Sustainability for Yokogawa Middle East & Africa B.S.C., where he also concurrently led Sales & Marketing for Yokogawa Saudi Arabia. His tenure in these dual roles showcased his ability to blend technical acumen with strategic leadership, fostering strong customer trust and supporting local workforce development.

A graduate of M.I.T., Anna University, Chennai, with a B.Tech degree, Mr. Devadasan has played a pivotal role in advancing key initiatives such as digital transformation, industrial autonomy, and energy efficiency.
