Waaree Energies Ltd, one of Indiaโ€™s largest solar module manufacturers, has secured new orders totaling 692 MW to supply modules for projects in India and the United States. The company did not disclose client names, pricing, or delivery timelines but said the modules will serve ongoing utility-scale and commercial developments in both markets.

In India, Waareeโ€™s modules will be used in large grid-connected plants awarded under SECI, NTPC, and various state tenders, particularly in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Karnataka. The orders also cover hybrid and round-the-clock renewable projects combining solar, wind, and battery storage, as well as commercial and industrial installations such as rooftops and ground-mounted systems for factories, logistics hubs, and data centers. Additional deployments are expected in agrivoltaics under the PM-KUSUM scheme and innovative projects like canal-top and floating solar plants.

In the United States, the modules will support major utility-scale projects in high-growth markets including Texas, California, Arizona, and Nevada. Waaree will also cater to solar-plus-storage projects benefiting from Inflation Reduction Act incentives, community solar portfolios in the Northeast and Midwest, and C&I systems for corporate campuses and warehouses. The new orders mark a significant expansion of Waareeโ€™s global footprint amid rising demand for clean and reliable energy solutions.
