Loom Solar showcased its latest portfolio of high-efficiency solar technologies at the Renewable Energy India (REI) 2025 Expo, featuring TOPCon and HJT solar modules with capacities of up to 730 W. The modules are approved under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) and certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), reinforcing the companyโ€™s commitment to quality and compliance with national manufacturing standards.

At the event, Loom Solar also unveiled its range of battery energy storage systems (BESS) from 1 kWh to 5 MWh, alongside made-in-India PV inverters available in on-grid and hybrid variants between 3 kW and 50 kW. The company highlighted that its lithium-based BESS are designed to replace diesel generators and enhance grid stability during peak load conditions, aligning with Indiaโ€™s decarbonization goals.

In a significant expansion move, Loom Solar announced plans to establish a 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh, which will integrate advanced TOPCon and HJT technologies.

โ€œAs India transitions to cleaner energy, our focus remains on creating advanced solar, inverter, and storage solutions that make power accessible, reliable, and future-ready,โ€ said Amod Anand, Co-Founder and Director, Loom Solar. โ€œOur upcoming 1.2 GW factory and commitment to BESS and inverter manufacturing mark a roadmap toward Indiaโ€™s clean energy independence.โ€

Loom Solar also outlined its strategy to supply high-efficiency modules, inverters, and storage systems for large-scale solar projects under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) Scheme, focusing on installations of 1 MW and above. Additionally, the company is seeking collaborations with public sector entities, including railways, telecom operators, and power distribution companies (DISCOMs)โ€”key drivers of Indiaโ€™s expanding solar ecosystem.

The company said its strategic initiatives reaffirm its commitment to supporting national renewable energy goals, fostering industrial-scale solar adoption, and strengthening Indiaโ€™s clean energy manufacturing ecosystem.
