FIMER, a global solar inverter manufacturer, and Simtel, one of Romania’s leading photovoltaic engineering companies, have completed a series of major energy-efficiency projects across the country, reinforcing their joint commitment to sustainability, cost optimization, and energy independence. All projects under the partnership were finalized by early 2025.

According to Simtel, the collaboration has helped clients significantly improve ESG performance, reduce carbon emissions, and increase operational efficiency. Together, the companies now have over 350 MW of installed capacity across Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

Key Projects

Salonta PV Park
A 5.5 MW solar park developed under Simtel’s own project portfolio features 13,488 Longi modules and 48 FIMER PVS-100-TL inverters. With an annual expected yield of 1,328.67 kWh/kWp, the plant is projected to cut 3.4 million kg of CO₂ emissions.

Retail Sector Installation in Sibiu
A 170.5 kWp rooftop plant was delivered for a major retail chain. The system includes 392 Longi modules and two FIMER inverters (PVS-100-TL and PVS-50-TL). The east-west layout is expected to generate 1,210.22 kWh/kWp annually, supporting notable emission reductions.
