PVV Infra Limited, a leading solar rooftop and infrastructure company, has announced the signing of a ₹650 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to establish a 1 GW N-Type TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility. The agreement was formalized on November 15, 2025.
The proposed state-of-the-art facility will be set up on a 30-acre industrial site near the Visakhapatnam airport, within a rapidly developing solar cell manufacturing cluster. The project marks a significant step toward strengthening India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem and advancing the country’s renewable energy ambitions.
According to PVV Infra, the investment is expected to generate around 350 direct jobs and over 450 indirect employment opportunities, contributing to industrial expansion and skill development in Andhra Pradesh.
The company plans to utilize its capabilities in investment, technology, design, planning, and equipment sourcing to establish and operationalize the advanced TOPCon manufacturing unit. The initiative reflects PVV Infra’s strategy to support India’s renewable energy infrastructure while promoting sustainable industrial growth in the state.
