Urja Global Ltd has entered into a joint venture agreement with Solarmint Energies Pvt Ltd (formerly Sun N Sand Exim India Pvt Ltd) to manufacture and distribute solar PV modules under the URJA brand. The partnership aims to strengthen Urja Global’s position in India’s fast-growing solar equipment market by combining Solarmint’s manufacturing capabilities with Urja Global’s nationwide sales and distribution network.
Under the agreement, Solarmint will be responsible for the production of URJA-branded solar modules, leveraging its existing manufacturing infrastructure and technical expertise. Urja Global, in turn, will handle marketing, sales, and distribution across India through its established channel network and brand presence.
The strategic collaboration focuses on module manufacturing, branding, and expanding market penetration for URJA solar products. The agreement is valid for three years, with provisions for renewal or extension based on mutual consent.
The partnership marks a new step in Urja Global’s efforts to broaden its product portfolio in solar EPC solutions, electric mobility, and energy storage, while supporting domestic manufacturing under India’s renewable energy expansion push.
