Hindustan Power Signs PSA with APDCL to Supply 130 MW from Annupur Plant

Hindustan Power has formalised a Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) for the supply of 130 MW of electricity from its Annupur power plant in Madhya Pradesh. The agreement, executed through its subsidiary MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Ltd., was signed under the Design, Build, Finance, Own and Operate (DBFOO) framework.

The PSA follows the Letter of Award issued by APDCL earlier this year and represents a key move toward meeting Assam’s growing electricity demand. Hindustan Power began supplying power to the state in October 2025, ensuring reliable energy delivery to support industrial expansion and household consumption.

Hindustan Power Chairman Ratul Puri said the partnership underscores the company’s commitment to supporting state utilities with consistent and efficient power supply. “We value the opportunity to partner with APDCL, which reflects our continued focus on supporting state utilities with a stable and efficient power supply.
