Skyworth PV has launched its SUN Mate Home Solar 2.0 solution in Vietnam, aiming to make residential solar power more accessible to ordinary households. The announcement was made during a seminar attended by over 100 industry stakeholders, focusing on renewable energy, energy-storage systems, tariff structures, and clean-energy investment opportunities.
The SUN Mate Home Solar 2.0 system is designed for plug-and-play installation, allowing households to generate electricity without professional design, structural modifications, or complicated construction. The system is available in three configurations โ Balcony Model for apartments, Awning Model for houses or storefronts, and Ground Model for yards and terraces โ making it adaptable to diverse household settings.
During operation, the system generates electricity during daylight hours for direct consumption, helping households reduce reliance on the grid and lower electricity bills. A cloud-based platform and mobile app provide real-time monitoring of energy generation and system performance.
Vietnam, with over 2,000 sunshine hours annually, offers significant solar potential, yet residential adoption has remained limited. Skyworth PVโs SUN Mate Home Solar 2.0 aims to unlock this potential by simplifying solar installation and lowering the barriers for household adoption.
The launch marks a step forward in the decentralization of solar energy and aligns with global trends of increasing residential access to clean, renewable power.
