INTEC Energy Solutions, a global renewable energy EPC contractor, has been awarded a contract by European renewable energy investor AUKERA to construct a 50 MWp solar power plant in Lachendorf, Germany. The project, aimed at strengthening Germanyโs renewable energy infrastructure, represents a key addition to INTECโs expanding clean energy portfolio.
Located on a 40-hectare site in Lower Saxony, the project will be executed under a full EPC + O&M contract. INTEC will oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and two years of operations and maintenance services. The companyโs turnkey responsibilities include supplying all major equipmentโmodules, inverters, and transformersโalong with civil and electrical works, SCADA integration, and end-to-end construction management. The plant will be built using fixed-mounted structures to ensure stable and efficient energy output.
Mobilization activities are currently in progress, with fencing work nearing completion. Once commissioned, the solar facility is expected to generate approximately 50.85 GWh of clean electricity annually, sufficient to power over 15,780 households. It is also projected to reduce COโ emissions by around 18,713 metric tons per year.
โThe Lachendorf project highlights our commitment to high-quality, sustainable energy solutions that genuinely drive the energy transition,โ said Klaus Friedl, Managing Director Germany at INTEC Energy Solutions. โTogether with AUKERA, we are shaping Germanyโs renewable energy future โ uniting global expertise with strong local delivery.โ
Kemal Keskin, Country Managing Director Germany at AUKERA, added, โBreaking ground on the 50 MWp Lachendorf solar project marks the beginning of a broader cluster that will deliver sustainable energy to Lachendorf and Lower Saxony. In partnership with INTEC Energy Solutions, we are accelerating Germanyโs energy transition and shaping a renewable future for the region.โ
The development reiterates both companiesโ commitment to advancing renewable energy through efficient execution, sustainable design, and environmental responsibility.
