Emmvee Energy, a subsidiary of Emmvee Photovoltaic Power, has signed a long-term supply agreement to deliver 4.5 GWp of tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar photovoltaic cells to a domestic buyer. The agreement will be executed over a five-year period from December 2025 to December 2030.
According to the company, the contract has been finalized on an armโs-length basis, with no promoter or promoter-group involvement in the deal.
The announcement comes as Emmvee accelerates its manufacturing expansion strategy. The company recently paid โน211.58 crore to the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) for land allocation to establish a new 6 GW integrated solar cell and module facility in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. The proposed manufacturing complex is expected to support the production of high-efficiency TOPCon cell technology and strengthen Emmveeโs domestic supply capabilities.
Emmvee currently operates solar module manufacturing capacity of approximately 7.8 GWp and cell manufacturing capacity of nearly 2.94 GWp. The new agreement is expected to enhance production scale and support Indiaโs growing demand for advanced n-type solar technologies.
The deal marks a significant development in Indiaโs solar manufacturing push, as the industry shifts toward higher-efficiency photovoltaic technologies and reduced import dependency.
