Kunamneni Technologies Secures O&M Deal For 97 MW Solar Capacity In Kerala And Andaman

Kunamneni Technologies has secured a significant contract to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for two major solar projects in India. The company will manage a 92 MW floating solar project at NTPC Kayamkulam in Kerala for a period of three years, as well as a 5 MW ground-mounted solar project at Sri Vijaya Puram in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, for two years and nine months.

The tender for this project was issued on July 28, 2025. Under the contract, Kunamneni Technologies will be responsible for daily monitoring of string outages, addressing inverter trips, handling breakdowns and tripping incidents, and restoring systems promptly.

The company is also tasked with investigating all high-tension and equipment tripping events and submitting detailed root-cause analyses to NTPC. This project highlights the growing importance of professional O&M services in supporting reliable solar energy generation across India.
