Strategic MoU Signed Between SECI, IPGCL, and PPCL to Drive Renewable Energy Growth in India

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indraprastha Power Generation Company Limited (IPGCL) and Pragati Power Corporation Limited (PPCL) to collaborate on renewable energy initiatives and related areas.

The MoU establishes a strategic partnership to explore and implement renewable energy projects, including solar power, energy storage, and emerging clean energy technologies. Key areas of collaboration under the agreement include project conceptualisation and feasibility studies, technical support and knowledge sharing, and identification and development of suitable renewable energy projects.

The agreement was signed by Shri Sivakumar V Vepakomma, Director (Power Systems), SECI, in the presence of SECI Managing Director Shri Akash Tripathi and other senior officials. Representing IPGCL and PPCL, the MoU was signed by Shri Amit Ahuja, Director (Technical), along with senior officials including Dr. Rajendra Kumar Yadav, GM (Green Energy).

The partnership aims to strengthen Indiaโ€™s commitment to a sustainable and reliable energy future, support the diversification of energy portfolios for IPGCL and PPCL, and reinforce SECIโ€™s role as the nodal agency for renewable energy development in the country.

Through this collaboration, SECI, IPGCL, and PPCL plan to leverage their combined expertise, drive innovation, and contribute meaningfully to Indiaโ€™s energy transition objectives.
