Waaree Transpower Secures Over ₹100 Crore IDT Orders For 1.27 GW Solar Projects Across India Within First Month Of Launch

Waaree Transpower, a key player in India’s clean energy infrastructure ecosystem, has achieved a significant milestone by securing Inverter Duty Transformer (IDT) orders worth over ₹100 crore within the first month of the product launch. The orders, totaling 1275 MVA (1.27 GW), have been placed by a leading solar EPC company for deployment across high-capacity solar projects nationwide. This accomplishment comes at a time when India is experiencing its fastest-ever renewable expansion, having added more than 10 GW of solar capacity in FY25 alone.

The country is targeting annual renewable additions of 50 GW to reach its 500 GW non-fossil capacity goal by 2030. As developers scale rapidly, the demand for high-efficiency, grid-resilient electrical infrastructure has surged, positioning Waaree Transpower as a critical contributor to national capacity building. Waaree Transpower’s Inverter Duty Transformers are specifically designed to withstand high-frequency switching, harmonic-rich environments, and variable irradiation conditions. These features have made the transformers a preferred choice for developers seeking long-term reliability, stable power evacuation, and superior grid compliance.

Ankit Doshi, Director of Waaree Transpower, commented that crossing the 1.27 GW mark in transformer orders within a month demonstrates the company’s ability to support India’s rapidly growing solar ecosystem. He highlighted that the milestone reflects the team’s engineering excellence, disciplined execution, and customer focus. Doshi also emphasized that as India continues to expand its renewable capacity at record speed, Waaree Transpower is committed to delivering reliable, grid-resilient electrical infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of developers and support the country’s clean energy transition.
