Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has successfully started operations of multiple new power projects through its subsidiaries, adding a total capacity of 307.4 MW. The projects, located in Khavda, Gujarat, mark a notable expansion in the companyโs renewable energy portfolio.
As per an official filing on December 31, 2025, the decision to commence power generation was taken earlier that day after obtaining the necessary clearances. The plants are set to formally begin generating electricity on January 1, 2026. With these additions, AGELโs total operational renewable energy capacity has reached 17,237.2 MW, reinforcing its leadership in Indiaโs clean energy sector.
The new capacity comes from a mix of solar, wind, and hybrid projects. The solar segment contributes 75 MW through Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Limited. Wind power adds 56.4 MW, coming from Adani Renewable Energy Forty One Limited, Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited, and Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited. The largest share comes from hybrid projects, generating 176 MW through Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited and Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited.
AGEL submitted this update to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited under SEBIโs Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, the company continues to strengthen its role as a major contributor to Indiaโs transition toward sustainable energy and supports the nationโs goal of increasing renewable energy adoption.
