SOLV Energy has announced the appointment of Rick Ortiz as Executive Vice President of Energy Infrastructure. In his new role, Ortiz will lead the companyโs efforts to expand high-voltage (HV) capabilities beyond solar, advance grid modernization, and accelerate the growth of SOLV Energyโs battery energy storage systems (BESS) team, which provides both integrated and standalone solutions.

He is expected to drive business development and strategic growth initiatives in the companyโs high-voltage and storage segments.
โSOLV Energy is committed to meeting the growing demand for reliable energy infrastructure,โ said Kevin Deters, Chief Operating Officer of SOLV Energy. โRick’s leadership will accelerate our expansion into HV markets and enable us to deliver innovative solutions that go beyond solar.โ
