Trina Storage has signed a cooperation agreement with Hebei Jidian New Energy Co., Ltd., the largest energy storage investor in Hebei Province, to support the development of a major standalone energy storage project. Under this partnership, the Leting 100 MW/400 MWh energy storage project in Hebei will use Trina Storageโ€™s Elementa 2 energy storage system solution. The project highlights the growing demand for advanced energy storage technologies as China continues to expand its renewable energy capacity and grid flexibility.

According to the company, the Elementa 2 system is designed with intelligent liquid-cooling technology that allows precise thermal management of battery cells and system operations. This feature helps the system maintain stable performance while improving safety and extending battery cycle life. Trina Storage also notes that the technology enhances system efficiency and overall lifecycle economics, making it more suitable for long-duration energy storage needs.

The partnership is expected to support Hebeiโ€™s efforts to strengthen peak-shaving capacity, improve power system stability, and integrate more renewable energy into the grid. With this agreement, Trina Storage continues to expand its presence in Chinaโ€™s energy storage market by supplying advanced and flexible solutions for large-scale applications.
