Juniper Green Energy announces the successful commissioning of additional ~72 MWp solar component of its ~133 MWp hybrid power project. This significant milestone was achieved in District Solapur, Maharashtra, through its subsidiary Juniper Green Spark Ten Private Limited. The plant, commissioned on January 10, 2026, was completed an impressive 10 months ahead of schedule.

With this, Juniper Green Energy has commissioned its solar capacity across two phases โ€” approximately 36 MWp on 25 September 2025, followed by 72 MWp on 10 January 2026. The overall Juniper Green Spark Ten Project has a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) capacity of 133 MWp Hybrid, comprising a contracted 108 MWp of solar and an additional 25 MW of installed wind capacity. The PPA for this project was signed on November 18, 2024, with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), and the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) is set for November 17, 2026.

The commissioning of this solar component marks a crucial step towards the full operationalisation of the hybrid project.
