Atlanta Electricals Limited, a leading manufacturer of power transformers, has secured five new orders totaling ₹288 crore from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL) and an Independent Power Producer (IPP) executing a project for NTPC. These orders are scheduled for execution over the next 12 months, boosting the company’s total order book to ₹2,787 crore. The two orders from KPTCL, valued at ₹146 crore, include the supply of 13 transformers, comprising six 100 MVA, 220/110 kV power transformers and seven 150 MVA, 220/66 kV power transformers.
In addition, the orders include 11 Nitrogen Injection Fire Protection Systems (NIFPS). The remaining three orders, worth ₹142 crore, come from an IPP undertaking projects for NTPC across Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh. These orders involve the supply of ten 125 MVA, 220 kV power transformers and five 100 MVA, 220/33 kV power transformers.
Mr. Niral Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Atlanta Electricals Limited, stated that these orders reflect the strong momentum in India’s power sector, where both generation and transmission and distribution segments are experiencing significant growth. He highlighted that the NTPC-related orders provide a balanced mix between utility and private sector projects. Mr. Patel added that the company remains committed to strengthening India’s power infrastructure by delivering advanced transformer solutions while improving capacity utilization across its expanded manufacturing facilities.
Atlanta Electricals was listed on the NSE and BSE on 29th September 2025. In its consolidated financial results for the October–December quarter, the company reported an 80% increase in revenue and a 120% surge in EBITDA. Profit after tax grew by 94.6% year-on-year for Q3 FY26 and by 34.6% for the nine months ended December 2025. EBITDA margins for Q3 FY26 and 9MFY26 were 19.4% and 17.7%, respectively.
At the end of the December quarter, the consolidated order book stood at a record ₹2,451 crore, with order intake during Q3 FY26 amounting to ₹796 crore. With these new orders in the current quarter, the order book has now risen to ₹2,787 crore.
