Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited hosted the “Road to Net Zero: Moving Forward to ISO 14064-1” event at M Tower, its head office in Bangkok, reaffirming the group’s commitment to advancing climate management standards and achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
The event was led by Mr. Bundit Hansapaiboon, Acting President of the Refinery and Marketing Business Group, and Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President of Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications. Executives and employees from Bangchak Group participated alongside representatives from key partner organizations.
Participating institutions included Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization, SGS (Thailand) Company Limited, Bureau Veritas (Thailand) Company Limited, UAE Consultant Company Limited, Azolla Climate Company Limited, along with Carbon Markets Club by Bangchak and BCPG Public Company Limited.
The session focused on ISO 14064-1 standards, which provide a framework for measuring, reporting, and verifying greenhouse gas emissions. Partner organizations shared technical expertise and showcased solutions through exhibition booths, offering consultations on greenhouse gas management and carbon market mechanisms.
Bangchak stated that the initiative reflects its strategic effort to strengthen group-wide climate governance, enhance transparency in emissions reporting, and build long-term resilience against climate-related risks. The event underscores the company’s broader sustainability agenda and its commitment to supporting Thailand’s low-carbon transition.
By aligning with international standards and collaborating with industry partners, Bangchak aims to reinforce its capability to manage emissions effectively while advancing toward its Net Zero 2050 target.
