ARRAY Technologies, a leading global provider of solar tracking technology, software, and services for utility-scale solar projects, has announced the opening of the new headquarters for APA Solar. APA, which is part of ARRAY, is known for its advanced solar racking and foundation solutions. The new 30,000-square-foot headquarters expands APAโ€™s footprint within its main manufacturing campus in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio. This facility is designed to bring customer-facing teams, business functions, engineering, and domestic manufacturing talent into one shared space. By centralizing these groups, the company aims to improve collaboration, streamline communication, and speed up the development of new solutions for the utility-scale solar market.

A major feature of the expanded campus is the Foundations Center of Excellence, which will focus on advancing foundation systems for locations with difficult soil conditions and frost-heave challenges. The Center will also enhance the technical compatibility between APAโ€™s foundation products and ARRAYโ€™s tracker technologies, allowing the companies to deliver more integrated, high-value solutions to customers. The campus will also include a dedicated research, testing, and training center to support ongoing product development. This includes a 5-acre solar site where new products and technologies can be tested under real-world conditions, helping accelerate the path from concept to deployment.

Kevin G. Hostetler, Chief Executive Officer of ARRAY Technologies, said that integrating APA Solar into ARRAY has exceeded expectations. He emphasized that the new headquarters reflects ARRAYโ€™s confidence in APAโ€™s capabilities as the companies aim to drive further growth in the utility-scale market. According to him, the new facility will strengthen collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams, helping shorten the timeline from development to customer value.

Josh Von Deylen, CEO of APA Solar, shared that the new building represents more than just expanded space. It is designed to bring people together, support teamwork, and foster an environment where new ideas can thrive. He noted that the headquarters is an investment in APAโ€™s workforce, culture, and long-term growth as part of ARRAY. APA Solar continues to remain deeply rooted in Ohio, where its primary operations have been located since 2008. The new headquarters strengthens the companyโ€™s commitment to U.S. manufacturing, technical excellence, and sustained investment in the local community.
