Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has presented an interim dividend of ₹115.09 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2025–26, reinforcing its financial and operational contribution to the country’s renewable energy sector.
The dividend was handed over during a formal event attended by Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Minister of New and Renewable Energy, along with senior officials including the Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and the Managing Director of SECI.
The occasion underscored SECI’s role as a key Renewable Energy Implementing Agency, driving large-scale deployment of clean energy projects and supporting India’s transition toward a sustainable and low-carbon future.
Speaking at the event, the Minister appreciated SECI’s ongoing initiatives and encouraged the organization to further strengthen its efforts in line with the national vision of Viksit Bharat and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
SECI continues to play a pivotal role in advancing India’s renewable energy capacity through project implementation, tendering, and policy support, contributing significantly to the country’s long-term sustainability goals.
