New developments of IBC SOLAR mounting systems for pitched and flat roofs
Bad Staffelstein / Germany, June 14, 2018 – IBC SOLAR AG, a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage, will showcase new product developments for mounting systems at Intersolar Europe in Munich. The new IBC TopFix 200 insertion system was specifically designed for the visually attractive mounting of modules on tiled roofs. An extension of the IBC AeroFix product family makes the roof-parallel and non-penetrative mounting possible on inclined membrane or bitumen roofs.
Attractive design and simple mounting – the new IBC TopFix 200 insertion system combines both. Black anodised system components combined with IBC SOLAR black modules create a homogeneous appearance and makes the overall design of the PV system on the roofs of detached and semi-detached houses look stylish. However, the IBC TopFix 200 insertion system also offers installers tangible benefits. Mounting takes place without the usual clamps. The modules are inserted directly into the profile rails instead. Only a rail profile and adapter profile are required for the mounting of modules of all standard frame heights between 32 and 40 mm. This offers maximum flexibility for planning and significantly reduces storage costs. The insertion system is also compatible with other tiled roof components of the IBC TopFix 200 product family – this is where the proven IBC SOLAR modular system comes into play.
In addition to the new insertion system for tiled roofs, IBC SOLAR will also present enhancements to its IBC AeroFix mounting systems for flat roofs at the trade fair. This includes the development of an aerodynamic system for roof-parallel mounting on inclined membrane and bitumen roofs. The non-penetrative mounting enables the system to reduce the risk of roof leakage and also offers maximum stability. All loads are ideally distributed thanks to its especially wide base profiles with large contact surfaces. The roof foil and insulation are also subject to less stress as a result of the large contact surface. A crossrail system enables the modules to be perfectly and securely fixed into the specified clamping areas.
