Taaleri Energia, a Finnish wind and solar developer and fund manager, and Masdar, the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, signed an agreement for the establishment of a joint venture with the aim of developing renewable energy projects in Central and Eastern Europe on 15 January 2019. The joint venture aims to build upon of the success of Masdar and Taaleri’s ongoing activities in the Western Balkans by expanding their collaboration through the joint development of onshore wind and solar photovoltaic projects.

SDAX-listed Hamburg-based solar and wind park operator Encavis AG has acquired another solar park with a generation capacity of over 14 megawatts in the Netherlands. At the same time, the three solar parks acquired in 2018 back then ready-for-construction have been completed and connected to the Dutch power grid. This gives Encavis AG an active generation capacity of more than 100 MW in the Netherlands.

Sonnedix, an independent solar power producer, has acquired a portfolio of 28 solar PV plants from Italian energy company Graziella Green Power S.p.A., with a combined capacity of 53 MW, following the signing of a preliminary sale and purchase agreement in December 2018.

REC Group, the largest European brand for solar photovoltaic panels, announces new product and power warranties on its premium and multi-award-winning REC TwinPeak and REC N-Peak high performance solar panels. Applicable to all deliveries since October 1, 2018, REC has doubled the product warranty duration from 10 to 20 years across the range, and reduced the annual power degradation of the panel, so that customers can now look forward to even greater guaranteed output over the lifetime of the panels.

Ellomay Capital Ltd, a renewable energy and power generator and developer of renewable energy and power projects in Europe and Israel, today announced that Talasol Solar S.L.U., its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary entered into a set of agreements governing the procurement of financing in the aggregate amount of approximately euro 177 million.
