Stover out as CEO at CalCom Solar

Nic Stover, president and CEO of Visalia-based CalCom Solar since 2014, resigned and will be replaced by two of the company’s vice presidents.

“Nic has elected to step down as CEO to explore other opportunities in the energy sector,” stated a press release issued by the company, which added that the change in company leadership was “effective immediately.”

Dylan Dupre, CalCom’s vice president of business development, will transition into the CEO position and Jason Smith, vice president of operations, will now serve as the president of CalCom Solar.

"Nic's leadership and entrepreneurial background have been invaluable to CalCom Solar,” said Dupre. “We are grateful for Nic's role in helping CalCom Solar grow from a small start-up into a thriving profitable solar project development and EPC company. We wish Nic the best in all of his future endeavors."

"CalCom Solar is fortunate to have a strong and talented executive leadership team. We are looking forward to continuing our position as a market leader," Smith added.

CalCom Solar is an employee-owned solar energy developer, focused exclusively on solar energy systems for agriculture and water.
