Pöyry Awarded Owner's Engineer Services Assignment For 257MW Solar PV Power Plant In Vietnam

Phu Yen TTP Joint Stock Company has awarded Pöyry with an owner's engineer services assignment for a 257 MWdc Hoa Hoi solar PV power plant project in Phu Yen province, Vietnam.

Phu Yen TTP is a project company established by B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited from Thailand and Truong Thanh Vietnam Group from Vietnam.

The project consists of a total of 257 MWdc solar photovoltaics and 220 kV electrical interconnection, constructed on 260 hectares of land in the South Central Coast area of Vietnam. 

Pöyry's assignment includes assistance in project management, design review, and site supervision services during construction and commissioning. The expected duration of the project is 9 months. 

"We are proud to have been chosen by B.Grimm and Truong Thanh Vietnam Group as their owner's engineer for this important project, which is one of the largest solar PV projects in South East Asia. This project further strengthens Pöyry's role in supporting the renewables boom in the South East Asian region, where we have so far been involved in more than 4,000 MW of solar and 3,000 MW of wind power projects," said Petteri Härkki, Regional Director of Pöyry.  

The value of the order is not disclosed. The order has been recognised within the Energy Business Group order stock in 2H 2018.
