Jetion Solar Supplies 50 MW Of Modules To Myanmar’s Largest PV Project

Jetion Solar Co., Ltd, one of the world’s leading PV manufacturers, recently announced the company has supplied 50 MW of solar modules for a large scale ground mounted project in Minbu, Myanmar.

It is reported the 50 MW Minbu Solar Park is the largest PV project in Myanmar to date. The project uses Jetion Solar JT PAg high-efficiency polycrystalline solar modules. China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd is providing engineering, procurement and construction services and SMA has provided the inverters. The project covers an area of 200 acres and is currently under construction and expected to be connected to the grid this month. Annual power generation is expected to be 87 million kWh, which could power around 20,000 Myanmar families.

“In the northern part of Myanmar where the PV project is located, the performance and stability of solar modules in extreme high temperature conditions are very important,” said Zhao Honglei, senior VP of Jetion Solar. “ our client Jetion Solar as its partner proves Jetion Solar’s high-efficiency and high-reliability products are fully qualified and bankable. In the future, Jetion Solar will keep driving Myanmar’s energy structure reform with our expertise in photovoltaic R&D, production and EPC services, as well as our global service network and experience.“
