ANERT Tenders for Solarization of Agricultural Pumps In Kerala

Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has issued a tender for rate contract for the solarisation of grid-connected agricultural pumps of cumulative capacity of 300 HP under the PM-KUSUM scheme in the State of Kerala

Building Site for the installation of the SPV can be ground-mounted or rooftop power plants.The scope of work will include the supply, installation, and commissioning of SPV ground-mounted or rooftop power plants with grid connectivity for solarising the power plants of capacity ranging between 1kW to 10 kW. The proposed location for the installation is all over Kerala.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Surakshaevam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) is a scheme for sustainable development of agriculture in India. It is prominently led by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The scheme was announced in February 2018  where the budget allocated was 140,000 crore. In the Union Budget 2020, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman extended the budget of MNRE to Rs 22,000 crore which has increased by Rs 5,000 crores as compared to last year.  Via KUSUM scheme, the government also allotted over 2.83 lakhs to aid farmers and In regards to that Nearly 20 lakh cultivators will set up solar pumps.

The last date of submission of Tender is  24/03/2020 at 6.00 PM. The date of the opening of the Tender is 26/03/2020 at 11.30 AM. Total Estimated Tender Value is  Rs. 1,20,00,000/- . All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 50,000/- along with the bids. The cost of the tender form is Rs. 5,900/- (Including GST).

The project developers will also be required to provide a warranty period 5 years from the date of Commissioning the system. The period of work is of 120 days. Bidders should have an annual turnover of at least Rs. 3 crores in each of the last three financial years to participate in the bidding process.

ANERT is an autonomous organization established as an institution under the Indian Department of Science and Technology and is the primary agency carrying out topical programs in Kerala for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), a bureau of the Government of India. The body was registered under the Charitable Societies Act by the government of Kerala and now functions under the state’s Power Department.

In September 2019, ANERT Inaugurated Kerala’s First Solar-Powered Cold Storage Project in Kozhikode. Solar panels with 6 kW capacity And 5 HP compressor motor have been set up alongside the storage.The main aim of cold storage is to store coconut and related products for a longer time period.
