CPWD Tenders 20kwp For O&M of Grid-interactive Solar PV System In Hyderabad

Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has invited tender for Operation and Maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical Installations of 20KWp grid-interactive Solar PV System at MSME, Hyderabad.

The Estimated cost of tender is Rs. 12,21,200.Each bidder should submit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of  Rs. 24,424. The last date & time of submission of the bid is 16.03.2020 at 15:00. Opening Time & date of the bid is 16.03.2020 at 15:30.

Eligibility criteria for participation are during the last 7years the firm should have completed three similar works each costing not less than Rs.4.88 Lakhs or Two similar works each costing not less than Rs 7.33 Lakhs or One similar work costing not less than Rs.9.77 Lakhs. Work refers to “SITC of Solar Power Plant”.The firm should have an annual turnover of Rs. 1.83 Lakhs and have registered for GST.

The bid submitted shall become invalid if the bidder is found ineligible, does not deposit original EMD with the division office of any Executive Engineer, CPWD or does not upload all the documents as stipulated in the bid document including the copy of the receipt for deposition of original EMD.

The tender states that all the equipment shall be guaranteed for 12 months, from the date of taking over of the installation by the department, against unsatisfactory performance and/or break down due to defective design, workmanship or material.

The completion period of this project is 75 days which includes planning, designing, approval of drawings etc. The total solar PV array capacity should not be less than 20 KWp and should comprise of mono/polycrystalline modules of minimum 325 Wp and above wattage.The document highlighted that solar modules made in India shall be supplied as per MNRE specification.

The Central Public Works Department of India(CPWD) is a premier Central Government authority in charge of public sector works under the Ministry of Urban Development now MoHUA (Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs). It is headed by the Director General (DG) who is also the Principal Technical Advisor to the Government of India.
