Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has issued a tender, inviting Online bids ( (Technical & Financial) from eligible bidders for the supply of 3,00,000 Nos. of multi-crystalline solar cells of min wattage of 4.52 Wp.
The last date and time for submission of bids is 27-06-2020 at 12:00 Hours and techno-commercial bids will also be opened on the same date.The bid is valid for a period of 90 days from the date of opening ie. 27th June.
It has been highlighted that only Indegenous solar cell manufacturers are eligible to quote (copy of authorisation from OEM to be submitted along with the bid), traders/ Stockists are not allowed to participate in this tender. There is no submission of earnest money deposit (EMD) for this tender.
According to the tender document the PV Cells must be met following technical specifications: 5 Bus Bar, Size: 156.75 x 156.75 mm +/-0.25 mm or 157 x 157 mm +/-0.25 mm, Wattage≥ 4.52 Wp.
The Inspection will be done by CEL representatives in CEL premises or supplier’s works. The government agency shall have free access to the supplier’s works during testing and final inspections’ and the vendor shall inform the MMD not less than one week in advance. All testing arrangements shall be the responsibility of the vendor and CEL reserves the right to inspect the material during manufacturing and/or before dispatch as per specifications and test protocols.
CEL will prefer to get offers directly from the original domestic manufacturers and prefer to deal directly with the manufacturer,the tender highlighted.
Bidders who are not in the approved vendor list of CEL and are unapproved in CEL would be allowed to participate in open tenders. However, the quotation of such bidders would be evaluated based on the eligibility criteria defined in the tenders. If the bidders satisfies the eligibility criteria and meets the specifications and terms and conditions given in the tender then that bidder may be awarded with purchase order/work order of maximum 10% of the tendered quantity in order to develop that bidder as a vendor to CEL for participation in future tenders.
In May, Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has issued an expression of interest (EoI) for a tie-up with start-up companies as a technology partner for waterless solar photovoltaic (SPV) module cleaning systems.The Last Date and Time for Submission of EOI is 30-09-2020 at 15:00 Hours.No formal Pre-Submission meeting has been planned for this EOI. However, in case of any clarifications needed, bidders may send their clarifications on mail.
The scope of work includes Supplying systems to CEL, Assist CEL in manufacturing such a system at CEL facilities, and Improve upon the system as per market requirements and as requested by CEL.
