The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) issued a notice with regards to a pre bid meeting of 10 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Power Project which is to be installed at Bagru, Jaipur District, Rajasthan under Global Competitive Bidding.

On 1st June, The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) issued notice inviting tender (NIT) for Selection of Solar Power Developers for Setting up of 10 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Power Project to be installed at Bagru, Jaipur District, Rajasthan under Global Competitive Bidding.

The Pre-Bid Meeting for this tender was earlier  scheduled at 1500 HRS on 22.06.2020 at SECI Office, New Delhi.

The Last Date for Submission of Bids (Both Online and Offline) is 24.07.2020.The Opening of Techno-Commercial Bids is on 24.07.2020.Date of E-Reverse Auction (eRA) shall be informed later to shortlisted bidders through email. 

Along with the bid the bidders have to submit Tender fees of Rs. 118000.Bidders are also required to submit earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs. 450000.Sucessful bidders have to submit Performance Bank Guarantee of Rs. 18000000.Project Completion Period for this tender is 08 Months.

To participate in this bid the Net Worth of the Bidder shall be equal to or greater than INR 90 Lakhs per MW of the quoted capacity, as on the last date of previous Financial Year, i.e. FY 2019-2020 or FY 2018-2019.

To participate in this tender three partners in a JV/ Consortium are allowed.As this is “Domestic Competitive Bidding”, no foreign companies are eligible to participate either on a standalone basis or as a member of consortium. However, the subsidiary of a foreign registered under the Companies Act, 2013 prior to publication of this RfS are allowed to participate. It is highlighted that Limited Liability Companies (LLC) shall be eligible only which are formed by Companies.

Recently,Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) announced that it is organizing a stakeholder consultation to explore the possible options to achieve the trinity of Flexibility, Firmness, and high PLF in RE Projects and also to finalize the broad contours of a bidding methodology in this regard.It has been stated by the company that the meeting will be held on the Microsoft Teams platform, and the link will be activated at 2 PM on 22.06.2020
