VSB Group Becomes Partner of Klimaschutz-Unternehmen E.V.

Decarbonising the economy is an ambitious climate protection goal. Renewable energies are the key. VSB Group wants to help companies to switch to green technologies and operate sustainably. That is why the wind energy and photovoltaics project developer and provider of integrated energy concepts is now a partner in the pioneering initiative
“Klimaschutz-Unternehmen”.

Nowadays, assuming social responsibility means standing up for climate protection. Doing precisely that is at the core of VSB Group’s purpose, as it contributes to the expansion of renewable energies. But there are other ways to counteract climate change. This is why VSB has decided to partner with the non-profit organisation “Klimaschutz-Unternehmen e.V.”, offering its conceptual and technical expertise in the field of energy production and efficiency.

This is why we have been developing wind and PV parks for over 20 years, advising industry and commerce on how renewable energies can be used to operate sustainably, safely and cost-effectively. We are pleased to contribute our experience to the work of the association and, as its partner, we hope to support and accompany other companies on their way to greater energy efficiency and climate responsibility,” said Marko Lieske, Managing Director of VSB Holding GmbH.

“Klimaschutz-Unternehmen e.V.” is an association of companies in Germany whose innovations play a pioneering role in climate protection and energy efficiency. The initiative was founded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK). The cross-sector network currently has 39 members and is supported by partners. The companies are implementing forward-looking projects that save energy, reduce CO2 and thus relieve the environment and nature, for example by using energy-efficient production methods and internal company processes.
