Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) recently floated a tender for engagement of PMA for setting up 1 MWp grid connected solar PV system on the rooftop of Punjab State Institute of Sports (PIS), Mohali, Punjab on a turnkey basis.
Last Date for Submission of Bid is 09-09- 2020 Upto 12.00 PM.
Scope of work for successful bidders includes designing, supply, installation, commissioning and 5 years comprehensive maintenance of rooftop solar.

Recently, State-run REC said its arm REC Power Distribution Company Ltd has emerged as the lowest bidder for a 10 MW solar project in the Jaipur district of Rajasthan under an auction conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
REC stated that “REC Power Distribution Company Ltd (REC-PDCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has emerged as the lowest bidder to install a 10 MW solar power plant at Bagru Kala Town, Jaipur District, Rajasthan on BOO (Build-Own-Operate) basis.
