GPSC Wins Four Asian Excellence Awards 2020


GPSC won four awards at the 10th Asian Excellence Awards 2020, proving its success as a leader in sustainable power innovations with strong corporate governance for sustainable growth. The company also aims to strengthen Thailand’s energy security with an environmentally-friendly management.


Mr. Chawalit Tippawanich, President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, revealed that the company was extremely proud of its success in winning four awards at the 10th Asian Excellence Awards 2020. The awards are 1. Asia’s Best CEO (Mr. Chawalit Tippawanich) 2. Asia’s Best CFO (Mrs. Wanida Boonpiraks) 3. Asia’s Best CSR and 4. Best Investor Relations Company (Thailand). The awards further attest to the company’s commitment to operating its power innovation businesses with responsibility towards the economy, society, community, and environment while maintaining good corporate governance with an aim to become a sustainable organization that is well recognized both domestically and globally.

The Asian Excellence Awards is organized by Corporate Governance Asia magazine, which has been focusing on corporate governance in Asia to inspire organizational excellence in various areas since its inception in 2011. The organization also sets high standards, selects, and grants awards to business organizations across Asia including China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
