Along the French Mediterranean coast in the regions of Occitanie, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Auvergne-Rhone-Alps, NOTUS energy currently looks at a development pipeline for solar power plants with a capacity of 90 megawatts. Furthermore, NOTUS
energy is in contact with landowners and municipalities to promote the planning, construction and operation of wind turbines.
Excellent conditions for photovoltaics in the south of France
“The south of France provides excellent locations for photovoltaics, with up to 1500 kWh/kWp, solar irradiation is about a third higher than on the Atlantic coast in the north,” explains Heinrich Lieser, president of NOTUS énergie France. Many land-owning farmers and companies as well as municipalities are developing renewable energy systems in cooperation with NOTUS energy. Thus, they are committed to fighting climate change and at the same time seize the economic opportunities offered by the production of renewable electricity.
The new office in Montpellier is located in the heart of the city, on the Place de la Comédie. “This enables us to provide an ideal and attractive location for our employees and our guests, leading to an optimal work atmosphere” states Heinrich Lieser. In addition to the headquarters in Paris and the branch in Montpellier, NOTUS maintains offices in Lille, Tours, Nantes and Bordeaux. With the additional staff in the new Montpellier office, the number of NOTUS employees in France has risen to approximately 35.
