Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. (Tata Power-DDL), a pioneering power utility supplying electricity to a populace of over 7 million in North Delhi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd. (Genus Power) to provide education and training on Smart Meters/ AMI Deployment and its related aspects.
This collaboration will facilitate development and customized delivery of impactful technical training programs coupled with a practical approach towards maintenance of smart electrical network.
As a part of the MoU, Genus Power and Tata Power-DDL will conduct capacity building training programs dedicated towards encouraging best practices in the area of Smart Meter Deployments for the betterment of DISCOMS. This is expected to yield an array of skilled “smart” utility workforce in India and globally through the joint efforts of both the parties. Genus Power will act as the technical guidance partner for TATA Power DDL.
