The Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) RMSL Invites Tender for 600 MW Floating Solar Park at Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh.
The final date to submit the bid is 31 January, 2022.
The project will comprise of total 6 units of 100 MW each of floating solar photovoltaic grid-connected power projects.
Government of India has approved various large-scale solar parks in the state of Madhya Pradesh, which includes 1500 MW Agar Shajapur Neemuch Solar Parks, 600 MW Omkareshwar Floating Solar Park, 950 MW Chhatarpur Solar Park, and 1400 MW Morena Solar Park. The overall objective of engagement of individuals is to assist RUMSL in carrying out various activities involved in development of the above-mentioned solar parks.
The the month of August this year, RUMSL had invited proposals from eligible and interested firms in the prescribed format for “Consultancy services for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) of Floating Solar PV Project and its auxiliary structures (including floating/ marine structures, transmission infrastructure, etc.) for a capacity of 600 MW in Kaveri Branch reservoir of Omkareshwar Dam, Madhya Pradesh, India
RUMSL, a joint venture of the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam of the MP government, has been instrumental in giving a push to solar in the state and has built up a strong track record since its inception.
