UAE And France To Work Together For RE And Hydrogen Projects

Bruno Le Maire, the French finance minister said that France and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will work together on new projects in the hydrogen fuel and renewables energy sector.

Bruno Le Maire said, “Reaching zero carbon emissions by 2050 is an important goal, and we want to work with the UAE on this fight on climate change.”

Investment and economic cooperation are required to boost France’s economy after being affected by the pandemic. Investment in renewable energy is important today and for the coming future. The finance minister was supposed to meet Mubadala’s head, ADQ’s head, and ADNOC’s head.

“It’s time to give new impetus to economic cooperation between our countries,” he said.

Recently, ADNOC and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA) launches a new global renewable energy and green hydrogen venture in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
