NTPC Issues Consultancy Tender for 105 MW and 220 MW of Solar Projects at Shajapur

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. (NTPC REL) has invited bids from consultants to conduct a geotechnical investigation for 105 MW and 220 MW solar power projects at Shajapur Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh.

Bid Submission End Date is 24-Dec-2021 at 03:00 PM and bids will be opened on the same day.

There is no EMD or tender fees. The bid validity period is of 180 days

The work should be completed within six weeks from the date of the letter of award. The consultant will have to pay liquidated damages at 0.5% of the contract value, subject to a maximum of 5% of the total contract value, if the work is not completed within the stippulated time.

As per bid document, bids must be accompanied by “Bid Security Declaration” in lieu of bid security in the form. Any bid not accompanied by an acceptable Bid Security Declaration shall be rejected by the employer as being non-responsive and shall not be processed further.

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd has received a letter of award (LoA) for 325 MW solar projects in the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Ltd. (RUMSL) at Shajapur Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

NTPC REL has won a capacity of 105 MW worth Rs 2.35 per unit, and 220 MW capacity at Rs 2.33 per unit in the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar’s auction for 450 MW of solar projects at Shajapur Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh.
