According to data published by the renewable energy ministry in Parliament on Monday, Andhra Pradesh recorded the highest funds released for the development of solar parks in the state.
Andhra Pradesh was followed by Rajasthan, and Karnataka, which secured second and third place, respectively. According to the report, the other top states were Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh.
The scheme’s funds were released dependent on the fulfilment of specific milestones.
Four of the five parks approved in Jharkhand will open in October 2021.
The written response to the Jharkhand solar parks added that as of now, no funding has been issued for these solar parks because they have not met the qualifying milestone.
