The Brihanmumbai Municipal Company (BMC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on energy technology and buy from the proposed hybrid solar energy plant at Balasaheb Thackeray Center Vaitarna Dam.
The MoU was signed between the BMC and Vaitarna Photo Voltaic Hydro Energy Genco Non-public Restricted, a three way partnership of Mahalaxmi Konal Urja Non-public Restricted and Shapoorji Pallonji & Firm Restricted, within the presence of state Atmosphere Minister Aaditya Thackeray.
As per the MoU, 100 MW electrical energy can be generated. Whereas the hydroelectric energy plant, which has lengthy been in planning, may have a capability of 20 MW, the floating photo voltaic photovoltaic energy plant can generate as a lot as 80 MW.
