Ayana, Fortum Win SECI’s 600 MW Solar Auction of Gadag, Karnataka

Ayana Renewables and Fortum were declared winners in Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction of 600 MW Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) connected solar project (Tranche X) of Gadag, Karnataka.

Ayana won 300 MW @ INR 2.35/kWh and Fortum got 300 MW @ INR 2.36/kWh

In July last year, SECI has floated a tender for developing 1200 MW of Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) connected solar power project (Tranche X) in Karnataka.

Under the tender a maximum capacity of 600 MW was to be awareded for injection at ISTS substations in Koppal and Gadag districts.

Bidders was supposed to submit a single bid offering a minimum of 50 MW and maximum of 1200 MW in multiples of 10 MW only.

For the Koppal substation Ayana had won 300 MW @ INR 2.36/kWh and Fortum had got 300 MW @ INR 2.37/kWh

Ayana and Fortum have secured total 600 MW each in SECI’s auction of 1200 MW Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) connected solar project (Tranche X) Karnataka.
